Freelance drummer and drum teacher from Northumberland. Joe has performed with various rising bands and singer songwriters at various venues in the North East and South of the UK including A Stone's Throw Festival, The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, Fenwick Festival in Doncaster, Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield, 110 Above Festival in Leicestershire, Newcastle City Hall, The Cluny and Off The Square in Manchester. With performance experiences in orchestras, musicals, function/tribute bands, performing in festivals and gigs, the knowledge gained has proved to be invaluable with impeccable versatility and ability to play a wide variety of genres.

Joe's past experiences includes ‘Northumberland Rock School' directed by Geoff Hutchinson involving teenagers from across the county building their musicianship. This provided many opportunities to learn a diverse range of music styles with a variety of musicians at an early age. Culminating with an ensemble performance at ‘The City Hall’ in Newcastle Upon-Tyne at the age of 13. Joe has worked with international German producers on a recording collaborations.

Joe has studied a Master of Music degree, after graduating from Newcastle University with an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Music, with a high first in performance. With the drumming knowledge and abilities achieved from his studies, Since his studies, Joe has performed for many up and coming musicians including Lizzie Esau, Eliza Lee, Abnorm, Temperance Day, The Avelons, Lee J Toby and Alex James. Not only performing, he has also worked as a digital marketing assistant for a gig promoting company called Notion Live Events which organises gigs and festivals under the name Shin Gigs. He was a member of their team who promoted and worked on the first year of the A Stone's Throw festival. Joe is currently gigging with UK rising band and singer songwriter Hannah Robinson and Roses in December which involve performing original music across the country.​​ ​​​​​
